Tissue TackTM Silane-based Microscope Slides
Tissue TackTM Silane-based Microscope Slides are coated with silane (aminoalkysilane) to improve adhesion of tissues to the slide for immunohistochemistry and In-Situ Hybridization procedures. It provides a positively charged surface, which permits instant coupling of negatively charged tissue sections. The slide also offers frosted end (white label) for slide or patient identification and are autoclavable.
With the positively charged surface, it gives the ability to immobilize and stretch DNA molecules in a highly controlled manner which enhances the sensitivity and accuracy of bioassays, enabling the detection of subtle genetic variations and interactions. These slides can be used for research in genomics and proteomics to applied diagnostic assays. It is also suitable for routine histological workflow and compatible with inkjet and thermal transfer printers.
