Fluorescence Reference Standards

Polysciences’ Fluorescence Reference Standards collection offers microsphere suspensions labeled with specific fluorochromes so that they produce the same fluorescence spectra as cells labeled with those fluorochromes. These standards facilitate calibration of fluorescence channels, quality control in multicolour flow cytometry, and consistent data across instruments and labs. A typical product (e.g., the “Pacific Blue™ Reference Standard”) uses ~7-9 µm beads, delivers ~100,000 particles per 50 µL test and is designed to mimic target cell fluorescence.
