Formaldehydes

Polysciences’ Formaldehydes collection includes ultra-pure, methanol-free 16% formaldehyde, standard 10% neutral buffered formalin, and blend fixatives (e.g. formaldehyde with glutaraldehyde) to preserve tissue morphology and ultrastructure in both light and electron microscopy. These fixatives are formulated for rapid penetration, reliable crosslinking of proteins, compatibility with downstream staining or immunohistochemistry workflows, and consistent performance in diagnostic, research, or pathology labs.
