Functionalized Silica Microspheres

Polysciences’ Functionalized Silica Microspheres collection offers high-purity, non-porous silica (SiO₂) microspheres available with surface chemistries such as –NH₂ (amine) or –COOH (carboxyl) to enable covalent coupling of biomolecules, efficient immobilization, and robust performance in diagnostics and materials research. These beads are available in nominal diameters ranging from ~0.5 µm to ~5 µm and are supplied in dry or aqueous form with size-coefficients of variation (CVs) typically in the 10-15 % range.
