Fungi-Fluor® Kits
Polysciences’ Fungi-Fluor® Kits provide a rapid fluorescent stain and counter-stain protocol designed to detect a wide range of fungal organisms in fresh or frozen specimens, as well as paraffin or glycol methacrylate-embedded tissues. The kit uses a high-purity Cellufluor® (0.05 %) solution to bind fungal cell wall polysaccharides and an Evans Blue counter-stain to suppress background fluorescence, enabling clear visualization of fungal hyphae, yeast, cysts (such as Pneumocystis jiroveci) and other fungal structures in clinical samples.
