Heterobifunctional PEGs

Polysciences’ Heterobifunctional PEGs collection features polyethylene glycol derivatives engineered with two distinct reactive end groups (for example –NH₂ at one end and –SH or –N₃ at the other) enabling step-wise or orthogonal conjugation strategies. These linkers are used in bioconjugation, nanoparticle coating, hydrogel cross-linking, and surface chemistry workflows. Examples include PEGs with thiol/amine combinations such as the Boc-Amine PEG Thiol (MP 3,000–5,000) which facilitates thiol-maleimide coupling initially and amine-based coupling later.
