Melamine Particles

Polysciences’ Melamine Particles collection features high-density, cross-linked melamine-formaldehyde resin microspheres supplied as a 2.5 % solids aqueous dispersion (~1.00 µm diameter) with a density of ~1.51 g/cm³—significantly higher than polystyrene. These hydrophilic particles carry amine and methylolamine functional groups on the surface, are highly stable in organic solvents (minimal swelling), can be lyophilized and redispersed, and are widely used in calibration, filtration standards, coatings and other advanced materials workflows.
