Methoxy PEG NHS (mPEG-NHS) is a PEG derivative with an N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester group, designed for amide bond formation with primary amines in proteins, peptides, and biomaterials. This highly reactive ester enables stable PEGylation, surface functionalization, and hydrogel formation while retaining PEG’s water solubility and biocompatibility.
