Methoxy PEG Silane (mPEG-Silane) is a silane-functionalized polyethylene glycol designed for covalent attachment to glass, silica, and metal oxide surfaces. The silane (-Si(OR)₃) group undergoes hydrolysis and condensation reactions, forming durable siloxane bonds with substrates, while the PEG segment provides antifouling and hydration properties.
