PEG diamine (MW 20,000) is a bifunctional polyethylene glycol derivative featuring primary amine (-NH₂) end groups. These reactive amines enable conjugation with carboxyl, epoxy, and isocyanate groups, making PEG diamine a valuable crosslinker in hydrogel formation, protein conjugation, and biomedical applications. The high molecular weight imparts excellent water solubility, flexibility, and biocompatibility, making it ideal for drug delivery systems, PEGylation of biomolecules, and tissue engineering scaffolds.
