PEG monomethyl ether, Mp 5000

PEG Monomethyl Ether (mPEG) is a linear, monofunctional polyethylene glycol derivative with a methoxy (-OCH₃) end group that imparts excellent water solubility, biocompatibility, and low immunogenicity. The hydrophilic PEG backbone provides steric stabilization, preventing non-specific protein adsorption and aggregation in biomaterials and drug formulations.
