Product Description

Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) is a high-molecular-weight, water-soluble polymer with excellent lubricity, biocompatibility, and thickening properties. Its unique ability to form hydrogels and improve viscosity makes it a key ingredient in pharmaceutical, personal care, and industrial formulations. PEO is also valued for its ability to reduce friction and enhance flow properties in aqueous systems.
PEO 100K contains: BHT 0.01%, SiO2 1.5% max, alkaline earth oxide as CaO 0.5%.

Applications:

Pharmaceutical & Drug Delivery: Used as a controlled-release matrix in drug formulations and bioadhesive hydrogels.

Personal Care & Cosmetics: Functions as a thickener and film-former in lotions, shampoos, and skincare products.

Coatings & Lubricants: Reduces friction and enhances lubricity in medical and industrial coatings.

Flocculants & Dispersants: Applied in wastewater treatment and suspension stabilization for improved process efficiency.

3D Printing & Additive Manufacturing: Enhances rheological properties in hydrogel-based printing and biofabrication.
