Product Description

9-Anthracenylmethyl methacrylate (AMA) is a fluorescent, photoreactive methacrylate monomer containing an anthracene chromophore, which provides UV absorbance, fluorescence, and photoreactivity in polymer matrices. It is widely used in optoelectronic materials, photopolymerization studies, and photolithography due to its light-responsive properties. AMA also contributes to UV-resistant coatings, sensor applications, and specialty adhesives that require fluorescence tracking or photoreactive functionality. Ex. max: 362nm Em. max: 407nm Applications: Fluorescent & Optoelectronic Materials: Enables photo-responsive and light-emitting polymers. Photocurable Resins & Coatings: Improves UV stability and controlled crosslinking. Biochemical Sensing & Imaging: Used in fluorescent labeling and sensor development. Photolithography & Micropatterning: Supports high-precision polymer structuring. Advanced Adhesives & Surface Modifications: Enhances UV-resistance and optical clarity.
