Amine PEG tritylthiol, Mp 10000

Amine PEG Tritylthiol (NH₂-PEG-S-Trt) is a heterobifunctional PEG derivative containing a protected thiol (-S-Trt) and a reactive amine (-NH₂) group. The trityl (Trt) group protects the thiol from premature oxidation and can be selectively removed under mild acidic conditions to reveal a reactive thiol (-SH) for disulfide bonding or thiol-ene click chemistry. This design is highly useful for protein crosslinking, nanoparticle stabilization, and hydrogel crosslinking.
