Cholesterol Sulfate

Cholesterol sulfate (sodium salt) is found in cell membranes. It affects lipid metabolism, stabilizes the cell membrane, and acts as a substrate for steroid synthesis. It can be used in the development of liposomes when studying the properties of cell membranes.
