DMG-PEG2000 (1,2-dimyristoyl-rac-glycero-3-methoxypolyethylene glycol-2000) is a widely used liposome-forming compound for in vitro and in vivo transfection of DNA, RNA and other negatively charged molecules. DMG-PEG2000 is a pegylated lipid used in the formation of Lipid Nanoparticles (LNP) or Nanostructured Lipid carriers (NLCs) in the development of mRNA vaccines such as COVID-19 vaccine.
