Product Description

Poly(ethylene glycol) monomethyl ether monomethacrylate (PEGMMA) is methacrylate-functionalized derivative of polyethylene glycol with a single methoxy capping group. This heterobifunctional amphiphilic monomer combines the hydrophilicity of PEG with the polymerizable methacrylate group, enabling its use in applications such as:

Hydrogels: Forms hydrophilic networks for drug delivery and tissue engineering.
Surface Coatings: Reduces protein fouling and improves biocompatibility in medical devices.
Copolymer Synthesis: Imparts hydrophilicity in amphiphilic block copolymers for emulsifiers and stabilizers. Enables synthesis of comb polymers.
