Product Description

Poly(L-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone) (PLCL) is a flexible and biodegradable copolymer combining L-lactide with ε-caprolactone. The addition of caprolactone reduces the polymer’s stiffness and enhances its elasticity, making it suitable for soft tissue engineering and long-term biodegradable implants. Its degradation rate is slower than PLGA, providing extended performance in medical applications.

Applications:

Soft Tissue Engineering: Used in scaffolds for skin, cartilage, and vascular grafts.
Medical Sutures & Implants: Provides flexibility and resorbability in biodegradable sutures and implants.
Drug Delivery Systems: Serves as a matrix for controlled release formulations.
