Poly(ethylene-co-vinyl acetate) (EVA) is a thermoplastic copolymer where ethylene provides rigidity and vinyl acetate introduces flexibility and adhesion properties. A 60:40 ratio means a higher ethylene content, making it slightly stiffer while maintaining elasticity. It exhibits good impact resistance, transparency, and low-temperature toughness.
