Poly(vinylidene fluoride)

Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) is a fluoropolymer known for its exceptional chemical resistance, thermal stability, and piezoelectric properties. Due to its alternating groups of hydrogen on the polymer backbone, PVDF does not degrade into Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), so is considered food safe by the FDA.
